One of my favorite trips to Disney World was one that some people may roll their eyes at…when we brought our 6-month old baby girl. The personalized Mickey ears, the baby-wearing! The teeny tiny Pooh Bear souvenir! I absolutely loved it.
So when we found out I was pregnant with our third babe, we decided to keep our Disney World reservation even though he would only be 7 weeks old. And while the postpartum woes made it difficult, he was able to tag along quite a bit.
Bringing a baby to Disney World comes with sooo many questions. You’re doing this as a family, usually with older kids, so the first question that comes up is “can the baby even ride anything?”
If you Google this, you’ll probably see lists including eeeverything that the baby is literally allowed to do: rides AND shows. I’m going to assume that you already know a newborn is allowed to go into a theatre to watch a 5-minute show, soooo…
Here’s a list of every RIDE – aka: things that move – your baby can go on. After this list, I give more details on how you’re able to carry little babes onto these.
Magic Kingdom
EPCOT
Hollywood Studios
Animal Kingdom
I know you don’t need another list in your life, so as a general rule of thumb: infants can get on rides that say “any height” under the height requirement. And theres over 25+ of them across Walt Disney World.
Sometimes! If there is no lap bar, you’ll have no problem getting in and out while you’re wearing baby in the carrier. Think boat rides like it’s a small world and Living with the Land — those are very open and easy to babywear.
If the ride as a lap belt that pulls down, though, like Peter Pan’s Flight, the Cast Member will most likely ask you to take them out and hold them. For me personally, these tips of rides were hard to babywear and I preferred to just hold them, anyway.

My life doesn't revolve around Disney like you may think. I live for my family: my husband and our three kids. In my spare time I like to make my home the best it can be, read on our porch and watch (you guessed it) Disney+.
