Disney’s Animal Kingdom is admittedly our favorite park, so I always plan two half-day visits. One for a morning-until-lunch day, and the other to see Pandora World at night with a dinner reservation.
For the first day, we would get a Genie+ for Kilimanjaro Safaris in the morning, do our park things, and finish with lunch before going back to our resort.
I’m sharing where we always eat when we want to grab a Quick Service lunch in Animal Kingdom. Pst: Quick Service means it’s fast, easy, and you don’t need a dining reservation!
Best Quick Service in Animal Kingdom: Satu’li Canteen
I love this spot because it’s essentially the CHIPOTLE OF PANDORA WORLD. Choose your protein, base and dressing that comes in these fun little tapioca-kinda-boba-balls that *pop* in your mouth. My daughter gets a kick out of those!
Satu’li (which means “heritage” in Na’vi) Canteen is one of the few – if only – Quick Service restaurants in Disney that give you reusable bowls and utensils. For anyone trying to cut back on their single-use plastic when traveling, this is a huge plus. They have a vegan option, too, just get the charred green onion vinaigrette.
Look at this dessert! All photographs in this post are by the amazing Chantell Rae.
You can find this spot in Pandora World, so it’s perfect to grab a bite before or after a ride on Avatar’s Flight of Passage or Na’vi River Journey.
Another huge YAY for me is there is always seating either in the air-conditioning or outside in the shade (which we prefer) so we’ve never had to do the dreaded stalk/hover to find a table here.
Using the My Disney Experience app, you can mobile order your meal. I love this place so much we even grabbed a photo of the menu. You’re welcome.

My life doesn't revolve around Disney like you may think. I live for my family: my husband and our two daughters, Story + Sailor. In my spare time I like to make my home the best it can be, read on our porch and watch (you guessed it) Disney+.
