I know to stick with the basics to truly be a minimalist packer for Walt Disney World. Nothing fancy-schmancy packing hacks over here. Just simple things that I know will have a big impact on our trip. For our latest trip, I found myself — to my horror — OUT of the things I love the most.
That’s when you know it’s good: when you see that little “Purchased in ___” tag on your Amazon search feed. Like um, yes I would like to buy again thank you, Jeff Besos.
Here’s a roundup of everything that’s in my cart to replenish our very simple packing list:
Electrolyte Powder
It’s Florida. It’s hot. The tap water tastes weird. A scoop of this electrolyte powder in your water is going to help keep your headaches away and help with that funky free water taste. I love the ingredients in this one, and it doesn’t taste salty or weirdly sweet at all.
Adrenal Oil
The latest tool in my toolbox because 1) I’m anxious and 2) Disney World drains my adrenals between the late nights, sugary treats, and traveling in general. I add 2 pumps of this to my water in the morning and I feel such a difference vs. days I don’t take it.
Compostable Straws
In my defense, my last box of these lasted me forever. Throw a handful of these in your bag when your in the parks because heads up: they will usually give you a paper straw that gets mushy faster than your toddler throws it on the ground. These are 100% biodegradable but feel like plastic.
Roll-on Sunscreen
I’m still looking for more of a cleaner sunscreen, but for now this is our go-to. We all use this, from my husband to our 1-year old, so we’re not packing a bunch of different suncreens.
Puffy Stickers
Our actual savior for sit-down meals in Disney. My kids love that the themes are low-key Disney (mermaids, pirates, etc.)
Urban Decay Setting Spray
If I could just get an unlimited supply of this stuff, I’d be set. 3-4 sprays of this after I finish my makeup routine and my makeup is going to stay in place all day.
Glow sticks
A one-time-use extra that I use sparingly, but we often buy tickets to Magic Kingdom’s Dessert Party, and I love surprising my kids with these while we wait for the fireworks to start. Also, did you know that glow sticks expire? Cause yea, I didn’t. Ask me how I know. Into my cart they go!

My life doesn't revolve around Disney like you may think. I live for my family: my husband and our three kids. In my spare time I like to make my home the best it can be, read on our porch and watch (you guessed it) Disney+.
