In this post, I’m sharing an unassuming spot in Hollywood Studios that’s perfect for a quick, easy, and inexpensive breakfast.
As a mom of 2, I’m always on the hunt for anything that makes our park day more chill, and I know we’ll be coming back to this spot again and again. Hint: there are waffles.
First, a little backstory: our go-to Disney World resort is Disney’s Boardwalk. We love it because you can walk or take a boat to Hollywood Studios, making our morning really easy. But after pushing a double stroller before 9 am, I need breakfast.
I’ve met a bunch of travel agents in the past year (wait, Instagram can be a good thing?) and when my agent-friend Jordan shared that her agent-friend Megan told her about these blueberry Mickey waffles, I knew I had to try them.
Guys, these are so good.
So good that I’m scared to tell you about it. Because the reason they’re so good is that they’re FRESH. Will it stay that way if the line gets long?? I don’t want to find out.
I get a little feisty when it comes to Mickey waffles because for real — most of them let me down. They’re either too hard, cold, or stale. If you’re like me and want Mickey waffles that are crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside, with some bonus points for fruit, you’re going to want to head to Hollywood Scoops.
It’s plopped right in front of Tower of Terror, making it a perfect time-killer for the parent waiting if you’re doing Rider Swap.
For a leisurely breakfast that’s for sure going to spike your blood sugar (I’m sorry but it’s true), try…
…the Waffle Platter for $9.49. It comes with three Mickey-shaped waffles served with fresh blueberries (these are on the inside), whipped cream, and syrup. We ordered two of these platters for the four of us and I honestly wish I had ordered one more.
Top it off with a mimosa for $14.50 and a Joffrey’s coffee. Congratulations, you are winning at Disney World.
If you’ve thought “yes!” while reading this post, save it for later so you don’t forget! And if you’re in the middle of planning a Disney trip with kids and are completely overwhelmed (I mean, why wouldn’t you be?), I got you.
When it comes to planning for Disney World, here’s how I can be of help:
My life doesn't revolve around Disney like you may think. I live for my family: my husband and our three kids. In my spare time I like to make my home the best it can be, read on our porch and watch (you guessed it) Disney+.
