It’s the season of magic (apparently) but sometimes it’s hard to not see all the full parking lots, long lines, sale emails — seriously, why are there SO many emails this year! — and the pressure of getting the perfect gift.
I rounded up my 8 favorite things that I’ve purchased for my Disney-loving self and all would be solid gifts for anyone who loves going to Disney World, or has a trip in the works.
Each of these are under $100, practical and thoughtful. I won’t judge you if you get one of these for yourself, too!
This backpack travels with me everywhere. It’s on the small side, which is perfect to fit in the boot of the stroller at Disney World and for flying. My favorite part is all the compartments inside — it unzips completely flat (genius) with lots of zipper pockets so when I’m scrambling for a diaper, I know exactly where it is.
When you’re getting on rides, you need something to bring with you for valuables like your phone and wallet. This sling is perfect to be hands free and cute. I love how thin the strap is, I forget I’m even wearing it. And the felt-lined pocket for my phone. Comes in SO many colors and there’s even a tiny one to match your little.
Throwing a ton of money at fun things for your Disney trip is well…fun, but if you know your friend needs to stay up to date with Genie+, or is a WDW first-timer, you can gift them a digital guide to help them out. Definitely the most practical gift options on this list are my giftable Guide to Genie+ and the Guide to Magic Kingdom. Just choose “buy as a gift” at checkout!
I know, I know…another Stanley cup. What I like about this one though, is that you can close the straw once its filled and it’s completely leak-proof to throw in my bag or in the bottom of our stroller. Even better, there’s a handle to hang off a stroller hook.
You don’t have to be a Disney die-hard to love this book written by the Walt Disney Company’s previous (and newest!) CEO. Simply put, it’s interesting. My father-in-law, my mother-in-law, my niece, and I all loved reading this.
I don’t wear a lot of Mickey Ears but OH MY GOODNESS, I feel like these were made for me. These would be perfect for that friend who loves dusty earth tones or has every ear on the planet, you’re scared to get them ones they already have. This Etsy shop is taking a break, but check their Instagram to see when they’re back!
If you paired this with a new record player, you may win at gifting. We have this classic record from the 70s and love every track; from Robin Hood to Mary Poppins.
Between taking photos, Genie+ and checking wait times, phone batteries die quick. Fuel Rods are portable battery packs with kiosks scattered all over Disney World where you can swap out a dead battery pack and replace it with a new one for free. They’re 1/2 the price if you order them from Amazon ahead of time, and then your friend will have them forever.
For more Disney World planning, here’s how I can be of help:
My life doesn't revolve around Disney like you may think. I live for my family: my husband and our three kids. In my spare time I like to make my home the best it can be, read on our porch and watch (you guessed it) Disney+.

I've planned our family vacations to Walt Disney World, ranging in ages, sizes, and circumstances; without kids, with one kid, and now with two! From these trips, I've learned what not to do and want to share them with you.
